ELSA Training
An ELSA is an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant.
South East Psychology CIC is a registered provider of ELSA training and supervision and has a long and successful track record of providing ELSA training and on-going support and supervision for ELSAs in schools.
All ELSA training is delivered in-person from our own training room in South London, and is not available online or via ZOOM / TEAMS.
Please note we are unable accept self funders on this course.
The ELSA programme is a six day course delivered by two HCPC registered educational psychologists. It aims to equip teaching assistants, teachers or other staff such as Learning Mentors or Family Liaison Officers with the skills and resources to provide direct individual and small group support to students with social and emotional difficulties. Follow up group supervision/ support is a compulsory element of the training. The training is suitable for staff working in primary, secondary and special schools.
