PELI CAN is a set of open-access, web-based materials to support resilience building and the promotion of well-being in children & young people with SEND/ALN. PELI CAN is based on over 12+ years of action research using evidence-based practice, including WHO recommended interventions, and practice-based evidence. PELI CAN is used in education, health, care and voluntary settings and homes across EYS to Key Stage 4 in line with policies such as mental health in schools and RPHSE.
The day will introduce PELI CAN to practitioners, including opportunities to access and explore web-based resources, experience some activities, plan a session and become confident enough to use PELI CAN as a ‘standalone’ intervention or to support other initiatives.
